KERALA WATERFALLS
The major waterfalls of Kerala are Athirapally water falls an 800 foot high waterfalls at the entrance of the Sholayar ranges, famous spot for backpackers and Vazhachal, a short drive from Athirapally waterfalls, this waterfalls is a part of the Chalakudy river. These waterfalls are about 68 km from Ernakulam and falls in Trichur district.
Wayanad has waterfalls like the Soochipara and Meenmuty waterfalls.
Palaruvi meaning stream of milk' is a 300-foot high waterfall in the Kollam district and 75 km from Kollam town. The woods near by are a famous trek spots.
Thomankuthu, which is 28 km from Thodapuzha, is famous for its numerous waterfalls. This has a seven-step waterfall.
