Your accommodation is nestled right in the lush slopes of this area near the quaint little town closer to Munnar. Gear up for a small trek near to your accommodation. Go for a guided plantation trek. Explore the Eravikulam National Park, home to Nilgiri Tahr. Plan the next day's activities visiting Chinnar wildlife sanctuary and enjoy a spectacular mountain sunset. Take a trip down to the Marayoor caves,

Day 5 6

You leave in the morning for Thekaddy. The road winds through tea plantations and small towns before reaching Thekaddy town. This town has little spice shops and restaurants. The government created a buffer zone around the park to protect its plant and animal life. Home to the Indian elephants and is also a refuge for the tigers, take your pick of park activities--from guided jungle walks to riding on elephants to bird watching and boat ride. You also have an option of camping in the forest. There is a magnificent forest lodge, which offers you a comfortable stay and vegetarian food. You can also take part a guided jungle walk and watch the wildlife in this sanctuary. Overnight at the forest lodge.

Day 7 - 8

After breakfast, head west to a farmhouse. This charming farmhouse is immersed in the pepper and other spice plantations. Here you can watch some low intensity farming and enjoy the locally grown food freshly picked fresh from the farm. Local specialty is the mainstay. You will find no shortage of activities to fill your days at this farm. Your activities would include taking part in farming activities, visit to the spice garden, bathing in rivulets, cycling through the villages or possibly an elephant ride.
